Our client has a growing school, which is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young learners. They are seeking dedicated, passionate, and creative teachers to join their Pre-school team (Playgroup - PP2).

Key Job Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned to CBC for Playgroup, PP1, and PP2.
  2. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports exploration and holistic development.
  3. Facilitate play-based learning, hands-on activities, and interactive engagements.
  4. Observe, assess, and document children’s progress in line with CBC learning outcomes.
  5. Maintain class discipline through positive behaviour management strategies.
  6. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on learners’ progress and wellbeing.
  7. Prepare teaching and learning materials and maintain proper classroom organisation.
  8. Support school events, extracurricular activities, and any other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) from a recognized institution.
  2. Must be TSC registered or in the process of registration.
  3. At least 2–3 years’ experience teaching in a pre-school environment (CBC experience is an added advantage).
  4. First Aid training or ECD–related short courses are an added advantage.
  5. Computer literate - proficiency in MS Word (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Key Skills & Competencies

  1. Strong understanding of CBC for Early Years (Pre-Primary level).
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Warm, patient, and child-friendly personality.
  4. Creative lesson planning and ability to use a variety of teaching aids.
  5. Classroom management and organisational skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with the school team.
  7. High level of professionalism, integrity, and passion for early childhood education.
