QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements for Appointment

  • Diploma in Records Management, Information Management or Information Science or Library Science /Studies and Information Studies or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, Sort and File correspondences;
  • Maintain and update file indexes;
  • Scan and upload files in the existing system;
  • Ensure security and proper handling of records;
  • Maintain file movement registers;
  • File and maintain office records;
  • Retrieve documents;
  • Carry out records survey and appraisal; and
  • Undertake file census and execute file bring ups;
