Key Responsibilities:
Project Design, Monitoring & Evaluation systems & tools
- Provide technical support in the development, review and revision of Empowered World View (EWV) monitoring and evaluation tools
 - Maintain systems, document and revise processes and guidelines to be used in the project implementation.
 - Provide technical support in the translation of the monitoring tools to the local contexts of the implementing National Offices.
 - Ensure that the project details/profile is updated in the IMPAQ Monitoring and Evaluation System on a regular basis.
 - Provide regular capacity building on EWV Monitoring, Baseline and Evaluation tools to the EWV staff including new EWV focal persons, Facilitators and ToTs.
 - Participate in the review and update of project MEL frameworks, M&E Plans, Project indicators and targets and Detailed Implementation Plans (DIPs).
 
Project Assessment, Monitoring, Reporting & Evaluation
- Support EWV facilitators' assessment with the aim of developing a strong and vibrant team of ToFs/ToTs
 - Ensure timely analysis of monitoring data and dissemination to key stakeholders for management decision making.
 - Monthly follow up with the Nos on the documentation of EWV Most Significant Change Stories, review and suggest areas for improvement to enable the Nos to submit 3 Quality Most Significant Change stories by the end of the Quarter.
 - Support National Offices to effectively conduct participant baseline surveys and evaluations.
 - Clean and generate Bi-weekly progress reports of the project baseline surveys and evaluations.
 - Store collected data securely as per policies relating to data protection for the project
 - Ensure that Bi-annual progress on the EWV indicators is accurately updated on IMPAQ and appropriately disaggregated for each National Office.
 - Ensure 100% upload of all projects’ documents on IMPAQ
 - LOP targets to be captured accurately disaggregated accordingly.
 - Support in the drafting of the quality project Quarterly, Bi-annual and Annual donor reports.
 
Learning, Documentation & Capacity Development
- Lead the project Action Learning for the EWV Core project Model
 - Oversee and participate in EWV research initiatives.
 - Ensure continuous learning, documentation and sharing of success stories, lessons learned & best practices to inform quality programming across the offices
 - Ensure that EWV documentation are stored in the appropriate folders in the IMPAQ and are easily accessible by the relevant project teams.
 - Coordinate the sharing of learning related to MEAL practices across offices and provide guidance when internal/external reviews, evaluations, and lessons learned exercises should be employed.
 - Ensure that lessons learnt and reports are documented (printed, visual) and published for sharing with internal and external stakeholders on quarterly basis.
 - Develop and implement capacity building plans across national offices in EWV Design Monitoring and Evaluation aspects, for continued learning and growth.
 - Provide support in EWV training across National offices
 
Networking, Partnerships & Collaboration
- Collaborate with other regional program effectiveness specialists to ensure quality for all programs
 - Participate in regional forums to ensure integrated strategy and plans with other technical team
 - Coordinate with external stakeholders including, but not limited to NGOs, Government, and Private Sector in order to advance the learning goal of the project
 - Participate in organizational meetings as required.
 
Other responsibilities
- Attend and participate/ lead in daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.
 - Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
 
Knowledge/Qualifications for the role
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project management, Statistics or related discipline from a recognized University.
 - Certification in data/statistical programmes e.g. SPSS, Stata etc
 - Minimum Six years’ practical experience in M & E system coordination/ implementation in a large international non-governmental organization or other international relief/development body
 - Evidence building experience/Knowledge and experience in knowledge management
 - Spiritual maturity; clear articulation of personal faith in Christ about how their faith informs their life and work. Able to stand above denominational diversities
 - Good analytical skills with appropriate attention to detail
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 - Excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills.
 - High professional ethics and integrity
 - Good Empirical knowledge of humanitarian codes, principles and practice;
 - Experience in quality assurance systems, and continuous improvement, with particular emphasis on integration of accountability measures into all aspects of the project cycle;
 - Computer literacy in MS suite.
 - Excellent team player with ability to work under minimum supervision
