The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving visitors and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
 - Receiving, making, and transferring telephone calls.
 - Receiving and distributing Mail, Parcels, and Messages to respective personnel.
 - Sending letters and packages via courier services.
 - Taking visitors and prospective parents around the school, when required.
 - Responding to inquiries either via email or verbally.
 - Filing and retrieving documents from student's files.
 - Maintaining out-of-school students on ISAMs and relaying the message to the teachers via email.
 - Addressing administrative issues directed by the Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher, and teachers promptly and effectively.
 - Ensuring the general cleanliness of the reception area.
 - Issuance of student's exeats as they leave the compound with the head teacher's consent.
 - Generating School Lunch Registers and Transport registers.
 - Liaising with other departments in the school to ensure that things run smoothly i.e. Main gate, Catering, School Nurse, Maintenance, Cleaning, Administration, and teachers).
 - Secretarial duties as assigned by the Headteacher and the Human Resource Manager.
 - Covering other admin staff members' duties whenever necessary.
 
Academic qualification and Professional experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant administrative experience in an educational setting, preferably in an international school environment.
 - Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or related field
 - A certificate in Office Management/practice or Administration is desirable.
 - Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office and School Management systems(e.g. ISAMS).
 
Required Competencies:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 - Ability to maintain confidentiality, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
 - Teamwork and collaboration skills
