Requirements for Appointment:

• For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Cooperative Audit, Accounting, Finance, Commerce (Accounting/Finance Option), Business Administration (Accounting/Finance Option), or any relevant and equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya; 

Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: -

• checking arithmetic accuracy of societies financial statements, figures and supporting schedules:
• compiling data on periodic financial returns, estimates of income and expenditure, assets and liabilities:
• receiving and recording applications for registration of auditors:
• collecting and collating data on societies financial statement, income expenditure, assets and liabilities;
• updating of audited accounts movement registers to ensure timely processing of audited accounts; and
• dispatching of audited accounts
