Duties and responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection:
- Developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Posting job openings on various platforms.
- Screening resumes and conducting initial interviews.
- Coordinating with hiring managers for interviews and assessments.
- Making job offers and managing the onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Handling employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Mediating conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Performance Management:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Providing support to managers in setting performance goals and objectives.
- Monitoring employee performance and providing feedback.
- Identifying training and development needs and coordinating training programs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Administering payroll and benefits programs.
- Conducting salary surveys and analyzing compensation trends.
- Managing employee benefits enrollment and changes.
- Ensuring compliance with compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
HR Administration:
- Maintaining employee records and HR databases.
- Managing HR-related documentation such as employment contracts, offer letters, and policies.
- Handling employee exits, including conducting exit interviews and processing termination paperwork.
- Assisting with HR reporting and data analysis.
Talent Management:
- Developing and implementing strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Identifying high-potential employees and creating development plans.
- Supporting career development initiatives and employee growth opportunities.
HR Compliance:
- Staying up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements related to employment practices.
- Advising management on HR-related legal issues and risks.
Employee Engagement:
- Planning and organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Conducting employee satisfaction surveys and analyzing results.
- Implementing initiatives to enhance employee morale and motivation.
Qualifications
- degree in human resource management
- atleast 3 years working experience
- Conversant with labour laws.
- Able to handle confidential information.
- Professionalism and integrity.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Customer service orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Leadership potential and a collaborative mindset.
