KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide supervision to analysts whilst performing revenue assurance cyclic tests, work with the business to design new revenue assurance controls
- Define, extract, and analyze data to identify potential areas of revenue leakage. ensure processing to profit and loss account and customer accounts.
- Execute revenue assurance controls testing as per the annual the testing plan, ensure all revenue assurance trackers are maintained and up to date
- Identify and report revenue leakage and make recommendations for remediation.
- Continuously assess revenue assurance controls to ensure that the bank has effective controls and accurate reporting of revenue flows, allocated at customer-level, across all products / services and business units.
- Primary support in cross functional initiatives to mitigate revenue leakage, through process improvement and / or system enhancement.
- In collaboration with business and technology teams, lead Root Cause Analysis on identified Revenue Leakage, assign ownership, follow up to recover and fix.
- Document the processes of revenue leakage identification, validation and root causing.
- Report identified revenue leakage and controls gaps promptly using the RA reporting tools and dashboards within defined frequency.
- Develop a revenue assurance data repository working with the BI and reporting teams to deliver a suite of data to be used for control automation and analytics.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- Professional qualification in SQL &/or database administration is an added advantage
- At least five (5) years' work experience in banking or financial services sector, including specific experience in the following areas:
- Data &/or financial analysis
- Banking operations
- Credit analysis or credit operations
- People management
