At TakaTaka Solutions, We collect your waste like every other waste collector, but, instead of taking it to a landfill, we take it to our own sites, where we sort the waste, and then recycle 95% either ourselves or through our local partners. This represents one of the highest recycling rates in the world.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise daily Sorting Plant operations to ensure efficient and timely sorting and baling of materials.
  2. Monitor sorting and baling schedules and adjust them as needed to meet the deoprtment efficiency.
  3. Communicate with other departments and teams to coordinate sorting plant activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
  4. Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement necessary corrective actions.
  5. Ensure that equipment and machinery are maintained and properly functioning to prevent downtime and delays in production.
  6. Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  7. Collaborate with management to set production targets and establish goals for the production team.
  8. Analyze Sorting Plant data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  9. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sorting and baling  processes.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or any Industrial related field.
  2. Previous experience in production, Packhouse supervision.
  3. Knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment.
  4. Proficiency in 5S inventory system.
  5.  Strong leadership and people management skills.
  6.  Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software programs.
  9. Flexibility and knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
