Job Summary:
- Seeking an experienced Training Manager with a background in the hotel or hospitality industry to assess training needs, develop and implement programs, manage budgets, and oversee employees onboarding. It requires a bachelor's degree, trainer certification, and 4-6 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in management and 2 years in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing training needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor training programs within the organization and externally
- Create training materials, e.g. multimedia visual aids and presentations,
- Managing training budgets
- Evaluating training and development progress and effectiveness
- Manage employee onboarding process
- Provide career development support
- Implement effective and purposeful training methods
- Organizing learning and development events such as seminars, workshops, conferences, classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, etc.
- Conduct performance reviews with the help of heads of departments, and give performance feedback.
- Conduct continuing education training
Requirements
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, hotel management, hospitality management, or a course in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of hotel operations.
- Additional Qualification: Certification as a trainer
- 4–6 years of working experience in a similar role
- 3 years experience in management
- 2 years of experience working in the hospitality industry
