Job Description
- To supervise the assigned station / section. Produce a consistent, high-quality product, ensure a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with our standards, policies & procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
- Ensures that food is stored, prepared and secured hygienically and safely
- Assists in maintaining standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and related areas
- Ensures mise-en-place and preparation procedures are correctly followed
- Ensure daily purchases are used economically according to needs and established policies
- Carry out stocktake and ensure actions are taken if discrepancies occur
- Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- At least 1 Year previous experience in a similar capacity
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
- Good knowledge on HACCP and other procedures in Food Production
