PURPOSE:
The primary responsibility will be to provide strategic support and analytical insights to drive informed decision-making for the business. The role holder will be responsible for research, investment analysis and provision of relevant information and recommendations on equity and fixed income investments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate insights and recommendations. Utilize tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
- Financial Analysis: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Monitor key financial metrics and prepare reports for review.
- Report Generation: Create detailed reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes. Propose and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of various projects. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and visually appealing presentations to convey complex information to stakeholders.
- Investment Research: Conduct comprehensive research on various asset classes, industries, and individual companies. Analyze financial statements, market trends, economic indicators, and other relevant data to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess the potential returns, risks, and valuation of investments. Utilize quantitative techniques and statistical analysis to support investment decisions.
- Investment Reporting: Prepare investment reports and presentations for stakeholders. Communicate investment recommendations and performance analysis
Academic and Professional Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Investment/Finance/Business Related fields from a reputable university
Professional Qualifications
- CFA Qualification or equivalent
Experience Required:
- 2 years Relevant experience
