Are you a passionate and skilled professional pastry chef with culinary skills? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Baker and step in Chef, where you will play a key role in delighting our customers with delicious snacks and savory dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
  • Create innovative and visually appealing baked goods that meet our high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Take ownership of the baking process from start to finish, including ingredient preparation, mixing, shaping, proofing, baking, and decorating.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with menu development and contribute creative ideas for new baked goods and pastry offerings.
  • As a chef, collaborate with the culinary team to prepare and execute savory dishes.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage ingredient costs to maximize profitability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers to understand their preferences and get their feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary certification from a recognized culinary institution
  • Proven experience as a baker and chef in a professional kitchen environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing your baking and cooking skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and culinary fundamentals, with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, freshness, and consistency.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
