Key Purpose Statement
The primary role of the Distribution Driver Team Leader is to lead the SBU in the execution of the Distribution Plan,esnuring that product is delivered safely ,effectively and efficiently in full and on time to all our customers
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Guide and manage the team to accelerate team performance and development
- To drive Supply Chain Ways on your shift
- Operating and Logistics costs control
- Plan for operational effectiveness by optimizing loading plan and reviewing daily execution
- Resource management
- Ensure that vehicle maintenance is carried out in accordance with work instructions and maintenance requirements
- Problem solving and continuous improvement
- Master Data management
- Ensure that the team members understand and adhere to quality standards
Skills, Experience & Education
Experience
- 3 years’ supervisory experience in distribution/transport setup
- Experience in a FMCG environment will be an added advantage
- Supervisory and people management experience
Education
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain
