St. John Ambulance is an international humanitarian Organization and is a foundation of the Order of St. John. St John Kenya is a charity established by St John Ambulance of Kenya Act Cap 259 for the purposes of, among other things, offering relief to the injured and sick people without discrimination through its first aid and health programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of project activities in accordance with agreed Programme / Project work plans and approved  budgets.
  • Support the Project Managers in ensuring that program activities are effectively  planned, implemented, monitored, and reported through submission of timely quality reports.
  • Support application and review of potential propoals and grant applications .
  • Identify potential partners  and build strategic partnership relations.
  • Carry out  research on different concepts to support the development of proposals, concept notes,status reports, and donor reports.
  • Plan and organize engagement meetings with stakeholders and other relevant  partners.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation of the project results.
  • Provide administrative support to the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in : Project Management, Business Administration, (or equivalent)
  • 3 years of experience in supporting project management and administrative roles
  • Knowledge of project design, project management, budget development and M&E.
  • Hands-on experience in progremme / project implementation
  • Proven ability to work with partners/stakeholders/donors for expected project results.
  • Good relationship management skills.
  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
