Business Systems Analyst

Reporting to the Head of Operations the business systems analyst will be mandated to gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, design and implement effective system solutions, and continuously optimize both customer-facing and internal business processes for enhanced efficiency

Duties and Responsibilities

Gather and Analyze Business Requirements

  • Interview stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and business goals.
  • Document, prioritize, and translate business requirements into actionable system specifications.
  • Identify and assess potential risks, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.

Design and Implement Solutions

  • Develop system specifications and create prototypes to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of solutions.
  • Test and debug systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.

Business Process Optimization

  • Continuously optimize customer-facing systems to enhance ease of business and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Streamline internal business systems to improve efficiency and agility.
  • Train and support users to maximize system utilization and productivity.

Project Management and Support

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely execution.
  • Track project progress, reporting on key milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.

Personalized & Progressive Customer Relationships

  • Systematically manage customer relationships throughout the lifecycle, from acquisition to growth, ensuring personalized engagement.
  • Focus on scalability and cost-efficiency to enhance customer relationship management.

Personalized Customer Experience & Ease of Doing Business

  • Improve overall customer experience, positioning it as a key competitive advantage for the company.
  • Ensure processes are scalable and cost-effective to support business growth.

Efficient & Interconnected Supply Chain

  • Deploy solutions to create a seamless, interconnected supply chain from raw material procurement to product fulfillment.
  • Ensure on-time fulfillment while maintaining lean inventory practices, optimizing for scalability and cost-efficiency.

Efficient & Effective Product Innovation

  • Facilitate the systematic translation of market learnings and insights into successful new product innovations.
  • Drive collaboration, speed, and scalability to ensure product success in the market.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or any related field
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP
  • Project management certification will be an added advantage
  • At least three (3) years of experience
