Duties and Responsibilities

  • An officer at this level may be deployed either in housekeeping and kitchen serce are
  • Specific duties and responsibilities will entail: coordinating training of staff working under him/her; carrying out training needs assessment yearly; developing standard operating procedures; enforcing the use of standard operating procedures; continuous monitoring of the use of standard operating procedures and ensuring smooth inter-sectional relations.

Requirements for Appointment

  • For appointment to the grade of Hospitality Officer I, an officer must have;
  • Served satisfactorily in the grade of Hospitality Officer, Housekeeper/Chef/Head Waiter for a period of not less than three (3) years;
  • Diploma in any of the following disciplines; Food Production, Food and Beverage Serce and Housekeeping and Laundry or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
  • Demonstrated ability and merit as reflected in work performance results
