Job Overview

  • As an interior supervisor, you will oversee and execute design projects that blend creative expression with functional spaces. A central aspect of this role involves creating artistic designs that optimize space usage while controlling costs. You’ll ensure designs are visually appealing to clients and align with project specifications. Additionally, you will place orders with manufacturers and suppliers and supervise on-site workers. Success in this position is measured by client satisfaction and budget compliance.

Responsibilities 

  • Supervise all aspects of interior work, including painting, joinery, and other related tasks.
  • Ensure quality work is completed by workers according to construction standards across all areas, including painting, aluminum work, joinery, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, decorators, architects, clients, and contractors.
  • Stay informed on industry updates, assessments, and best practices.
  • Research and select materials and products for sourcing.
  • Establish costs and project fees based on budget requirements.
  • Work closely with the quantity surveyor and site supervisor.
  • Interpret and translate client needs into rough plans.
  • Coordinate effectively with multiple teams to resolve operational issues and delays.
  • Prepare and submit daily work reports and progress updates to the quantity surveyor, site supervisor, and directors.

Skills Required

  • Demonstrated experience in supervisory roles within the interior field.
  • Skilled in joinery, painting, and various other interior tasks.
  • Impressive portfolio showcasing past projects.
  • High levels of creativity, artistic talent, and imagination.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting all types of drawings.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed Bachelor in interior design or related field
  • Work experience of 2+ Years

Added Advantage

  • Experienced as an interior supervisor with proven expertise in paint, joinery, and other related interior fields.
