Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize respective offices.
  • Carry out word processing duties for respective offices.
  • Maintain proper organized office, clean, and that supply and control of stationary and office materials are in place.
  • Maintain and provide appointment and reception services.
  • Taking dictation, transcription notes, typing and preparing reports/ letters
  • Maintain availability of office correspondence and filling all correspondences at all time.
  • Attending to all incoming and outgoing messages
  • Maintaining sound filling system in the office
  • Operating photocopies machine
  • Receiving and attending to visitors’ enquiries
  • Ensuring safety and confidentiality of the office

Requirements for Appointment

  • Diploma in Secretarial studies from Kenya National Examinations Council or Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES and Gstages I, II &IIfrom KNEC
  • Certificate in Public relations and customer care course not lasting not less than two weeks from Kenya School of Government or any other government training Institution
  • Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized Institution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
