Records Management Officer II (2 Posts)

Requirements

  • At least four (4) years related work experience;
  • Diploma in record management or a related field;
  • A supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated results in work performance; and
  • Fulfil the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the operations of Registry
  • Planning appropriate office accommodation for registry services
  • Tracking movement of files, documents and records in accordance with government regulations
  • Establish and manage records management system
  • Prepare disposal schedule and disposal of dead files in accordance with relevant government regulations
  • Ensuring proper, secure and computer based storage of files for easy retrieval of files
