- Impala Club is seeking a highly skilled & experienced Stores Attendant for its Stores department.
The ideal candidate will be a Kenyan citizen who has the following Key Qualifications
Professional Qualifications and Experience
- High school Certificate/diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Clerk, or similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Work experience in the hospitality sector will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in Technical Areas(experience);
Key Duties and deliverables
- Under the guidance of the accountant, prepare Monthly stock reports and analysis and sharing with the Finance team and General Manager.
- Perform daily, weekly & monthly reconciliations and investigations of the stock variances.
- Issuing of supplies to the different department and maintaining a record of the same.
- Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
- Monitor daily stock movements for the Bar, Kitchen & Housekeeping.
- Recommend stock control measures within the Club to reduce variances.
- Physically confirm the stock to ensure everything is accounted for.
- Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
- Ensure that the goods received are as per the order and of the right quality and quantity with the assistance of the procurement Officer.
- Monitor Re –order levels for all food items to ensure proper levels are maintained to avoid running out of the items.
- Check and advise Management prior to products expiry dates for further directives.
- Ensure all store requisitions are signed by concerned Department Heads (HOD’s) and approved by the General Manager.
