Job Requirement

  • Served in the grade of Chief Gaming Inspector Job Group “M” or in a comparable & relevant position in the public service for a minimum period of 3 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Hotel Administration (Gaming) Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Law, Sociology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Attended a Senior Management course lasting not less than four weeks from a recognized institution.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Betting Lotteries & Gaming legislations.
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance & results.

Job Description

  • Managing Betting, Lotteries & Gaming services within the area of jurisdiction.
  • Overseeing collection of gaming taxes and fees.
  • Initiating investigations and report cases of illegal gaming activities.
  • Presiding over public lotteries and prize competition draws.
  • Overseeing collection, collation and analysis of data on betting and gaming activities.
  • Preparing of performance reports.
