Role Overview
The Digital Content Producer will oversee the creation, production, and management of multimedia content for All Saints’ Cathedral. This individual will ensure high-quality recordings and live streams of services and events while managing and mentoring a team of media volunteers. They will also work closely with ministry leaders to support the church's mission through engaging and impactful media production of high-quality video content that supports the mission and activities of All Saints' Cathedral, Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless and high-quality live streaming by managing all phases, including pre-live, live, and post-live streaming activities ensuring all content aligns with the cathedral’s mission and effectively communicates key messages.
- Collaborate with the Communications officer to develop creative concepts and storyboards for media projects, create engaging visual content such as reels, and posters for ASC social media and websites all the while maintaining consistency in style and quality across all productions to uphold brand standards.
- Work collaboratively with worship ministers, coordinators and other stakeholders to deliver highquality video content for various projects.
- Manage and train the Media Team, in your capacity as their team leader to ensure cohesive collaboration and the delivery of high-quality multimedia content.
- Oversee the proper storage, transportation, and handling of production equipment to ensure its safety and longevity; maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all equipment, tracking its usage and ensuring availability when needed.
- Propose and implement new media techniques to enhance the quality and impact of the cathedral’s visual content.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets for the media department. Generate reports on media activities, team performance, and project outcomes for strategic decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma in Broadcasting Journalism, Media Production, Film and Video Production, Digital Media, Multimedia Designs, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years with hands on experience in video production, preferably in a church or ministry setting.is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools.
- Strong technical skills in video recording, lighting, and post-production.
- Basic knowledge of audio management and sound editing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
