Our Client is the Premier Inbound Destination Management Company in Africa, with offices located in Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Our dedicated team of travel experts specializes in offering clients personalized services and exceptional products, including private guided tours, self-drive adventures, FIT arrangements, and group travel experiences.

We are seeking for Tour Consultant (Group & Incentive) to join our team.

 Summary of key specific responsibility

  •  The successful candidate is expected to receive, analyze and process tour requests according to the company’s uniformed quality service delivery standards so as to maximize company turnover.
  • Bookings Management: Accountable for the daily processing of all relevant incoming requests, according to set standards.
  • Quotations: Acknowledge agents’ emails, prepare accurate and detailed tour proposals in a timely manner.
  • Reservations: Ensure bookings are captured correctly in tourplan and all services are booked.
  • Streamline File Operations: Preparation of booking documentation as per the set guidelines
  • Financial Control: Ensure costs are captured correctly on tourplan, files are invoiced and have correct margins.

Minimum requirements

  • Relevant degree and/Diploma level education preferably in Tourism and Hospitality Sectors
  • Minimum two years experience in handling groups and incentives
  • Strong Communication skills – verbal and written
  • Strong Customer Service and Excellent inter-personal skills across all levels
  • Attention to detail and with an analytical mind
  • Time Management and Organization Skills
  • ICT Proficient
  • Proficiency in other Foreign language(s) will be an advantage
