Key Purpose Statement 

The Process Operator (Syrup room) is responsible for operation of the process area according to work Instructions, execution of destructive and non-destructive quality checks and carrying out autonomous maintenance. The Process Operator (Syrup room) has a primary focus on quality control activities of the team. This role reports to Quality Assurance Technologist

Key Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Manufacturing of high quality final syrups under high GMP standards.
  • Syrup release upon meeting specification.
  • Ensuring adherence to KORE and regulatory requirements in syrup operations.
  • Participating in continous improvement initiatives.
  • Initiating RCA for deviations or non-conforming processes and products.
  • Be Involved in all supply chain practices applicable to level 1.
  • Stock Management for Inventory in Syrup room.

Skills, Experience & Education    
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in Food Science and Technology or Biochemistry or Chemistry or Microbiology or any related course.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent position in an FMCG
