Job Description:
- The Legal & Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing our legal and compliance functions, ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations. This role involves managing compliance programs, providing legal advice, and leading initiatives to mitigate risks. You will work closely with various departments to integrate legal and compliance considerations into our business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of issues, including contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee and manage the company's response to regulatory inquiries, investigations, and audits.
- Collaborate with senior management to integrate legal and compliance considerations into business strategies and operations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance issues and legal obligations.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company and ensure timely updates to policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years post admission experience.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing legal counsel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional certifications in compliance are a plus.
