- The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new revenues by sealing partnerships with Medium to large insurers and insurance brokers in East Africa.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop a Sales territory by conducting outbound sales campaigns aimed at winning business for the company.
- Build a healthy pipeline of business to reflect the potential for the company in the region, and work to qualify viable opportunities to close business in the medium term.
- Meet or exceed a sales quota for net new business with the targeted customers (insurers or brokers) over the reporting period.
- Jointly manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, with support from leadership within the organization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on the ground, within your region, to coordinate customer engagement on sales activities; discovery, demos, proof of concepts (POCs) etc.
- Effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) tools to manage the entire sales process, providing accurate and timely reports on deal statuses.
- Channel feedback from the market, customers and prospects to the company, to enhance our product offering and market position.
- Report to the CEO/Head of Sales
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Business 2 Business sales experience, selling to Financial Services Institutions/Enterprise businesses in multiple countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota preferably in Enterprise Technology Solution Sales.
- Highly disciplined, and self-motivated - to execute well in a fast-paced environment.
- Understands sales process and the need for timely updates.
- Goal-getter, creative thinker & solution oriented.
- Agile learner with a competitive spirit.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and frameworks such as consultative selling, MEDDIC, etc.
- Excellent persuasive, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
