Your Role – Magic happens when you bring great people together! 

Core Processes:

  • Manage the 3PL distribution center, customer delivery experience, order management, transportation, and supply & demand planning.
  • Define the general framework of the logistic offer, country delivery action plan, and proactive customer dashboard with Sales and Marketing across several countries/territories.
  • Oversee transactional, project, and service scopes for East Africa.

3PL Operation Management:

  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards are applied within 3PL operations according to Schneider Electric standards, including managing reported incidents and near misses.
  • Responsible for inventory control, performance, quality, and P&L.
  • Ensure defined processes and procedures are applied according to Schneider Electric SPS principles.

Customer Satisfaction & Logistics Quality:

  • Address customer complaints, support, and escalate customer satisfaction issues (delivery/service) if they are not fulfilled.
  • Analyze customer surveys and implement improvement actions (CSLD).
  • Manage issue prevention using warm loop and 8D cold loop methodologies, with CS&Q-related processes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Promote and manage relevant quality programs and methods (8D, Lean 6 Sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Consolidate all Non-Quality Costs, DCR, service level OTDS, OTC, BOL, AC2 follow-up, and drive improvement actions.
  • Actively participate in the SIM cycle to contribute to entity performance.

Qualifications

  • Ability to execute logistics tasks in line with the expected level of quality, cost, time, and security, identifying issues with internal control/business processes.
  • Proficiency in planning, executing, and overseeing logistics projects to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
  • Strong technology proficiency with logistics software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
  • Strong commitment to meeting customer needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the logistics process.
  • High resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing market and evolving business needs.

Required Experience:

  • Experience in managing 3PL operations, customer delivery experience, and demand & supply planning.
