About the role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Assistant. In this role, you will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance with company policies. You will also collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, optimize procurement processes, and support budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Supplier Management – Assist in Identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Purchasing and Order Processing – Assist in Managing procurement processes, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Contract Negotiation and Management – Negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable deals while ensuring compliance with policies.
- Budget and Cost Control – Monitoring procurement expenses, optimizing costs, and ensuring purchases align with budgetary constraints.
- Compliance and Risk Management – Ensuring all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies while mitigating risks.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination – Assist in Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Information Management: Ensure effective communication and meticulous record-keeping, facilitating seamless data access for all relevant teams.
- Any other duty assigned by the line manager within the scope.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Procurement management or related field
- Proven experience in procurement management, demand planning, and supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using procurement management software and tools.
- Excellent understanding of sourcing techniques, KYC, and supply chain principles.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets or other data analysis tools.
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
