Duties and Responsiblities
- Confirm membership data 45 days before renewal. Notify the client immediately of any discrepancies, and ensure all costs are finalized no later than two weeks before the renewal date.
- Advise on new entrants and withdrawals within 12 hours of client notification and update records concurrently.
- Keep an updated database of the scheme membership.
- Request for medical requirements within 3 days of delivery of renewal data or new entrants to the insurer, and notify the client within two (2) days.
- Update the medical register weekly and forward monthly letters to clients on compliance status after the grace period.
- Debit / Credit and advise the client on all costings received from the insurer within 1 day.
- Correctly Debit / Credit to avoid and reduce raising of reversals.
- Ensure all monthly debiting is done before the close of E-Global/Agile.
- Send premium statements to a client at the end of each month, highlighting the outstanding premiums with immediate follow-up on the same.
- Update daily premium follow-up on the weekly Debtors register.
- Hold monthly meetings (documented for the record) with the Insurer’s Operations staff to discuss and agree on reconciliations.
- Ensure to request monthly reconciliations from the insurers by the 5th of every month.
- Update the global register by the 15th of every month.

Professional and Academic Qualifications
- Academic and Professional Qualification

- Certificate of Proficiency in insurance
- Two (2) years’ relevant experience
