Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, Public Health or Community Health, Public Safety or Emergency along with relevant experience.
- Served satisfactorily as Senior Disaster Ambulance Officer and above for at least two (3) years.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in emergency medical protocols, triage systems, and ambulance logistics.
- Analytical skills for evaluating operational performance and implementing improvements.
Job Description
- Lead and manage disaster ambulance operations, ensuring rapid and effective emergency medical response.
- Manage ambulance fleet, medical equipment and other critical resources to maintain operational readiness
- Ensure maintenance, procurement, and optimal deployment of ambulances and emergency medical supplies
- Advocate for service enhancements, funding and innovations to strengthen ambulance services
- Oversee the training, certification and professional development of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and ambulance support staff
- Participate in disaster preparedness planning and risk reduction strategies
