Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Protect University properties against loss and damage.
  • Enforce security rules and regulations in the University.
  • Reporting security incidences and emergencies to the security supervisor.
  • Respond to safety, emergency and enforcement alerts.
  • Vetting of staff/students and visitors while accessing University premises.
  • Control crowds during University functions.
  • Prevent crime and maintain law and order in the University.
  • Collect security intelligence and report appropriately.
  • Ensure high level of customer services to all clients.
  • Perform any other lawful related duties assigned by the Director Security Services

 Qualification and Experience:

  • KCSE with a mean grade of D+ (Plus) or its equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of work experience in a security field.
  • Valid certificate of good conduct from National Police Service.
  • Computer literate.
  • Physically a mentally fit.
  • Be an individual of high integrity.
  • Paramilitary training will any of the disciplined forces or private security firm.

  • The terms of service include Basic salary, house allowance, commuting allowance and medical insurance/cover
