AUDIO TECHNICIAN/OFFICER I – CASB 9 (JOB GROUP K)
- Basic Salary Kshs. - 41,320
- House Allowance - 12,800
- Commuter Allowance - 5,000
- Leave Allowance - 6,000 (Payable once in a Year)
- Mortgage & Car Loan - As per SRC guidelines
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting in recording proceedings for County Assembly sittings at the chamber and committee activities;
- Assisting in taking proper notes during committee proceedings;
- Assisting in audio segmentation and archiving of audio files and records;
- Assisting in installing, maintaining, repairing and monitoring audio equipment in County Assembly chambers; assisting in transcribing assembly proceedings as necessary;
- Assisting in operating the Public Address system for its effective functioning;
- Assisting in providing audio recording services to plenary sitting and assembly committees in field work, site visits and public hearings to provide accurate information; and
- Keeping abreast with changing technology in recording and audio services.
Requirements for Appointment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, Television or Radio Production, Computer Science, Mass Communication, Multimedia Studies or related field;
OR
- Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, Television or Radio production, Computer Science, Mass Communication, Multimedia Studies or related field; and
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognised institution
