Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales and Marketing Team Lead to oversee our sales and marketing efforts. This role focuses on recruiting customers, mobilizing savings, ensuring customer retention, and facilitating upselling and cross-selling of Mombo Sacco's wide range of products and services. You will be instrumental in enhancing brand awareness, as well as growing deposits and lending through a variety of digital and traditional channels, including advertisements on Meta and Google platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Customer Recruitment and Retention:
  • - Lead the sales team in recruiting new members and mobilizing savings.
  • - Develop and implement retention strategies to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • - Foster strong relationships with current and potential members through personalized communication and engagement strategies.

  • - Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • - Design and execute sales initiatives to achieve targets related to deposits and lending.
  • - Spearhead upselling and cross-selling campaigns to promote a comprehensive suite of Mombo Sacco products and services.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

  • - Digital Marketing and Brand Awareness:
  • - Increase brand visibility through active participation in digital platforms, including social media, email marketing, webinars, and social lives.
  • - Design and manage advertising campaigns on Meta and Google to drive traffic and engagement.
  • - Partner with media outlets and participate in interviews to amplify brand presence.
  • - Host and participate in industry events to network and promote Mombo Sacco.

  • - Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • - Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • - Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, results, and market trends to senior management.
  • - Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales and marketing strategies.

  • - Manage and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals.
  • - Establish clear team goals, delegate responsibilities effectively, and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • - Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture to drive high performance and career growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing management, preferably within the financial sector or cooperative societies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including experience with Meta and Google advertising platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and brand awareness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market trends.
