The Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive with experience in material testing and survey equipment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, technically informed, and capable of translating product knowledge into real business opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, increasing product visibility, and driving sales across Kenya and the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote stocked equipment
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, demand, and competitor activity to identify opportunities
  • Identify and engage new clients across engineering, construction, and academic sectors
  • Manage client relationships, including presentations, quotations, and site visits
  • Negotiate and close deals, including tenders and customized contract terms
  • Provide exceptional after-sales support and gather customer feedback to inform product strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • Technical or scientific background preferred (experience in material testing/survey equipment is a strong advantage)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant B2B sales experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required)
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Fast learner with a passion for sales and client engagement
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently
  • Willingness to travel when required
