Requirements
- Applicants must be holders of a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture or any related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience with at least two (2) years as supervisor.
- Computer literate
- Additional professional qualifications in management such as Business Management, Project Management and Marketing from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting the Farm Manager on day to day operations of the University Farm;
- Ensuring production targets of each farm units are achieved;
- Supervising staff and keeping attendance records;
- Supervising students on attachment; Field patrols/ scouting on regular basis and making reports;
- Collecting soil samples from the fields as directed by the Farm Manager;
- Record keeping of farm inputs and output.
- Safeguarding farm inputs and outputs; and
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
