Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Minimum of a 2nd Class Upper Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university
  • Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate
  • At least 2 years post-admission experience in a busy law firm
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Experience in Company Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Not-for-Profits
  • Knowledge and practical experience in Data Protection, Cybersecurity, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and Fintech
  • Excellent research skills and ability to draft legal documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
