Our client seeks to recruit a Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

 Assist in daily accounting operations ,maintain accurate financial records, and support the preparation of financial reports while gaining practical experience in the accounting field.

 Key Responsibilities:

  •  Record and reconcile daily transactions in the accounting system. 
  •  Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  •  Maintain general ledger accounts. 
  • Conduct daily petty cash management.
  •  Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  •  Support tax filing and compliance documentation.
  •  Organize and file accounting records for easy retrieval. 
  •  Creating and updating files, and filing documentation in appropriate files.
  • Moving outdated files following protocol to inactive storage.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  •  Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts) 
  •  Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts 
  • Follow up on machinery issued to be returned to the store Department in good Condition

Qualifications & Skills: 

  •  Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  •  CPA Section 2 (minimum) or equivalent qualification. 
  •  2–3 years of accounting experience (excluding internships).
  •  Good knowledge of MS Excel and QuickBooks accounting software . 
  •  Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. 
  •  Good organizational and teamwork skills
