Our client in manufacturing seeks qualified candidates for the position of Quality Assurance and Control Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for Products manufacturing and quality testing standards setting, Quality grading and decisions and  Reduction and control measures of undergrade and waste among other duties. 

  • Quality Management System Oversight
  • Oversee Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with KEBS, industry standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to verify adherence to QMS procedures.
  • Facilitate external audits by regulatory bodies or customers.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the production cycle.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process optimizations.
  • Product Inspection and Testing
  • Implement inspection and testing protocols for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Investigate and address non-conformities, and implement corrective actions

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma, TQM principles, and other quality methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating quality control teams for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to interpret data to drive process improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Result-Oriented with Relentless Commitment to Customer Success: Demonstrates a focus on achieving outcomes and a dedicated commitment to driving customer satisfaction and success.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in quality assurance roles, preferably within textile manufacturing, with a proven track record of enhancing customer satisfaction.
