- We are seeking a proactive and experienced Nurse in Charge to oversee daily clinical operations, ensure high-quality nursing care, and lead a motivated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, demonstrate clinical excellence, and can leverage technology for efficient service delivery, documentation, and communication.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership, mentorship, and supervision to nursing and support staff, ensuring professionalism, teamwork, and accountability in line with Health Reach’s service standards.
 - Oversee smooth patient flow across all service points including OPD, wellness clinic, laboratory, and imaging while ensuring timely, coordinated, and efficient care.
 - Maintain high standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and adherence to infection prevention and control (IPC) measures and clinical protocols.
 - Support growth initiatives by promoting Health Reach services, driving patient retention, and collaborating in community outreach and wellness marketing activities.
 - Build strong working relationships with doctors, clinical officers, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
 - Ensure full compliance with Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, and participate in quality improvement and audit activities.
 - Conduct regular staff performance appraisals, identify training needs, and foster continuous professional development, mentorship, and teamwork.Champion exceptional patient experience through compassionate, respectful, and responsive service, and manage feedback to strengthen satisfaction and loyalty.
 - Utilize digital health systems and technology for patient documentation, reporting, communication, and performance tracking, while encouraging staff adoption of digital tools for efficiency and accountability
 
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
 - Valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) practicing license.
 - Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
 - Proven ability to lead teams, manage clinical operations, and ensure high-quality patient care.
 - Proficient in the use of hospital management systems and digital documentation.
 - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
 - Demonstrated ability to multitask, solve problems, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
 - Marketing awareness and a proactive approach to promoting healthcare services.
