KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees, including casual sta.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Take ownership of payroll administration and benefits management, ensuring timely and precise processing.
- Prepare and submit monthly HR reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Initiate and oversee sta training and development programmes, promoting continuous learning.
- Coordinate and manage disciplinary processes in line with company policy, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Handle employee queries and provide clear guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions about benefits, payroll and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- A Diploma in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in human resources or administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills and pro-active in nature with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Oce Suite and HRIS systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- An excellent team player.
- Strong time management & decision-making skills.
- Work well under pressure.
- Show a willingness & ability to learn quickly.
- IT Savvy, with proven experience navigating and utilising a variety of digital platforms, software, and systems relevant to human resources and administration.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving digital tools is essential.
