Operations Manager

Key Requirements:

  • Lead and inspire the junior/management teams, including Sales and Finance to deliver a consistent 5-star level of service/performance
  • In charge of Reservations, Housekeeping Sales and Guest experience department
  • In charge of the profit & loss aspect of the business in liaison with the CEO/Founder as well as the chief accountant
  • Oversee all day to day operational activity for the business, including: Extra services and Upselling.
  • Work with the CEO on direction for the business, in accordance with company strategy
  • Work with the CEO on new listings pricing, on new concept development and planned refurbishments/improvements.
  • In charge of the revenue management function in liaison with the CEO
  • Work in liaison with the accounts department in credit management and home owners payouts.
  • Developing and Implementing strategies that will ensure a positive experience on the guest experience
  • In charge of the timely on boarding process in order to grow our portfolio
  • Employee performance management, reviewing employee behaviour/appearance
  • Development of SOPs and policies for each department depending on ongoing business needs
  • Ensure all necessary team reports are done in accordance to policies and specific timelines
  • Understanding new features and trends on PMS (technology platforms)
  • Analyze statistics and trends on the PMS and CSM

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field, MBA preferred
  • 10yrs of experience in an operation role
  • Sound and strategic decision making
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Technologically savvy
  • High level of responsibility and accountability
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Work and inspire others to work autonomously and deliver results
  • Strong sense of business acumen – experience in scaling up a business / fundraising
