Placement objective: Showcase VETS program impact & empower partner orgs!

  • Train officers to capture impactful photos & stories.
  •  Film short dairy farming videos with partners.
  •  Share stories on gender equality, sustainability, & governance.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

Essential: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or training in Communications and/or a related subject Professional Background / Skills 
  • Experience documenting and collecting stories and case studies and compiling them into captivating pieces demonstrating the impact achieved 
  • Videography skills 
  • Ability to train the extension officers to take good photos and capture good stories 
  • Effective cross-cultural communication skills 
  • Commitment to the principles of volunteer cooperation and familiarity with participatory approaches to development, including the promotion of gender equality, good governance and environmental sustainability 

Desirable: 

  • Previous international work / volunteer experience considered an asset. Placement goal and objectives (preliminary)
