Brief Description        

Organize, conduct, evaluate training anddevelopment programs to enhance organizational and individual performance ofoperational personnel and commercial customers.

Detailed Description        

  • Develop training curriculum, syllabi and manuals for Flight Operations Officers, pilots, and Load controllers.
  • Conduct load control training for pilots and FOOs to enable them to complete a load sheet as per KCAA regulations and Company requirements and standards for each fleet.
  • Plan, organize, schedule and deliver Flight Operations Training programs in collaboration with the various functions in order to enable easy access and full participation.
  • Ensure that all trainings are conducted as per the KCAA/Company policy and standards.
  • Prepareand ensure quality of classrooms during lecture, encourage participation ofaudience
  • Issuecertificates / licenses to qualified staff to ensure compliance with KCAA andKQ Standards and Procedures.
  • Delivercommercial training programs to contribute to the achievement of revenuegeneration.
  • Maintaincompetency, qualification and where required certified in both the subjectmatter required to deliver.
  • Supportin the review of operational manuals to ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements, industry standards and company training standards withinoperational areas.
  • Act assubject matter expert for the business with regards to Flight Operations/AircraftHandling and Loading issues.
  • Create alearning culture by always engaging learners and their managers.

Job Requirements        

  • University graduate/ Higher Diploma/ Diploma
  • Load Control training
  • FOO Dispatch License/ATPL pilots license
  • Instructional Techniques
  • Instructional Design
  • Turnaround Coordination & Loading Supervision training
  • Working knowledge of KCAA rules and regulations
  • Delivering service in demanding consumer environment
  • At least three (3) years in a supervisory role in Load Control or in Airline Flight Operations
