Job Description

  • We are currently applications from mid-career (5+ years of experience) and senior (10+ years of experience) professionals in the international development - governance sector. We are particularly keen to hear from full-time consultants with an established track record in the delivery of high-quality short-term technical assistance in Tanzania. If you have experience working on SDC or FCDO projects, this is also highly desirable.
  • We are specifically looking for candidates with the following attributes, and experience in at least one area of ‘subject expertise’ as listed below:

Mandatory attributes:

  • Strong background knowledge of Tanzania
  • Technical experience in project writing and research
  • Strong networks and connections between the Tanzanian government and civil society
  • Soft skills such as critical thinking & proactive problem solving

Subject expertise:

  • Strategy/Policy Development, including public sector reform
  • Management & Planning
  • Decentralisation and Local Government
