Job Description:

  • We seek talented and passionate individuals to join our team as interns/volunteer trainers. If you have a strong background in web development or design and are eager to contribute to changing the lives of young people from under-resourced backgrounds, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and train aspiring web developers and designers, providing guidance and support throughout their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement comprehensive training programs for web development/design students.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including tutorials, workshops, and project-based assignments.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills and build their portfolios.
  •  Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in web development/design to ensure the training curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their creativity and develop their talents.
  • Utilize WordPress or no-code tools for rapid prototyping and development, demonstrating their potential to students.
  • Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs, making adjustments as needed to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Bulma, Bootstrap, and React.js.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or no-code tools for rapid development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
