The duties and responsibilities will entail:

  • Participating in curriculum development activities;
  • Validation of Curriculum Designs for assessment;
  • Recruitment and training of contracted professionals;
  • Development of assessment tools;
  • Proofreading and approving assessment tools for banking;
  • Providing input in the preparation of divisional work plans, procurement plans, and budgets;
  • Participating in awards and grading;
  • Preparing examination feedback reports;
  • Ensuring security and confidentiality of all examination and assessment materials;
  • Keeping abreast with trends in psychometrics;
  • Adhering to the requirements of the Quality Management Systems for continual improvement.

Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Education with specialization in Islamic Religious Education and History from a recognized institution OR Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution OR a Higher Diploma in a relevant discipline and a Diploma in Technical Education from a recognized institution and At least four (4) years cumulative teaching experience;
  • Demonstrated competence and merit in work performance;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution only for the successful applicants.
