REQUIREMENTS
A candidate must:
- Have a PhD in Nursing with a specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing or Oncology in addition to a Master’s degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or its equivalent qualification from an accredited and recognized University
OR
- Have a Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing or Oncology in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (in some special cases) with 3 years teaching experience at the University.
- Have a Minimum of 24 publication points of which 16 should be from refereed journal papers.
- Be registered and have a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide clearance from (a) Kenya Revenue Authority (b) Higher Education Loans Board (c) Ethics and Anti-Corruption
Commission and (d) Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigation Department.
