Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Classroom Management:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in accordance with Waldorf educational principles.
- Maintain a well-organized and stimulating classroom environment.
- Foster a warm, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Implement the regular teacher’s lesson plans and adapt as necessary to meet the needs of students.
Student Support and Development:
- Observe and understand students’ individual learning needs and provide tailored support.
- Encourage and guide students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain open and effective communication with students, providing feedback and support as needed.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
Employee Engagement and Development:
- With guidance, participate in initiatives to enhance employee morale and engagement.
- Support the coordination of professional development programs and staff training programs.
- Compile reports from the employee engagement activities.
- Conduct a training evaluation for all trainings undertaken.
Administrative Duties:.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom.
Education, Skills and Experience.
- Diploma in Education or early Child development.
- Must be registered and valid member with TSC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and classroom dynamics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
