This position will be reporting to the Chief Security Officer, Regions, The key duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Participating in implementation of security measures and regulations in the company.
  • Safeguarding security of Company assets against theft, pilferage, damage, misuse or sabotage.
  • Liaising with law enforcement agencies to ensure effective execution of security services.
  • Sensitizing internal and external customers on matters of general security.
  • Supervising contracted and seconded police officers and other lawful agency personnel to ensure value for money.
  • Developing and implementing security awareness training programs.
  • Receiving and dealing with any information that has a security dimension in a confidential manner.
  • Developing and implementing programs and procedures to address to address emergency situations.
  • Overseeing and coordinating security operations on wayleaves infringement, electricity thefts and vandalism.
  • Preparing of Weekly and Monthly Reports

Appointment Specification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
  • Three (3) years’ work experience in Security Services or relevant Function
  • Thorough understanding of Company business
  • Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills

  • The ideal applicants for the above positions must have graduated from recognized institutions after the year 2020 with Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study, attaining atleast second class Honours.
  • Successful candidates will undergo an eighteen (18) months training program at the Company. The training program will be structured to include classroom, mentorship, hands-on projects, and rotations across various Departments and functions among others. On successful completion, they will be absorbed in specific functions of the Company.
