Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright and Cypress.
  • Create and execute comprehensive API test cases using Postman, ensuring high-quality backend services.
  • Perform performance testing using k6 and JMeter, analyzing results to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines on GitHub.
  • Guide the team in writing BDD-style tests using the Cucumber framework for Cypress automation.
  • Work closely with other engineers to utilize Terraform or GCP tools to ensure scalable and secure testing environments.
  • Continuously enhance test strategies, frameworks, and practices to align with industry trends and project requirements.
  • Debug and resolve test failures, ensuring the stability and reliability of test pipelines.
  • Contribute to test planning, including risk analysis and coverage assessment for new features and products.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or any other relevant courses is relevant but not required.
  • 4+ years of experience in web automation, API testing, and performance testing. 
  • Proficient in modern tools and frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, and Postman, with a good understanding of Terraform or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools and cloud services.
  • Exposure to other programming languages, such as Javascript or Typescript.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and frameworks for real-time application health checks.
